Project 6: May 16-18
Carter
Ms. Carter is a mother who is working hard to maintain the home that she purchased through Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity 18 years ago. She struggles with having available funds to cover maintenance costs, but still does her best to keep up her home. She heard about our repair program and after she was approved, she completed the recommended sweat equity hours on other homes so she can receive help faster from Critical Home Repair.
Part of our goal is to help her by replacing the two posts on her front porch, which will provide her with better structure and stability. We will mainly be working on her exterior and will need help from our volunteers to paint her new siding and trim where needed. Ms. Carter would like to thank Habitat for Humanity and all the volunteers for the time and hard work put towards her home.
