Week 1. Project 1 - November 30th – December 2nd
Ms. Rios has lived in her home for about 20 years. She came to us after having several issues with her home that she is not capable of addressing. Not only did she raise 3 children on her own, but she maintained her home until she unfortunately was faced with cancer. After a long and difficult battle, she is now cancer-free but is still dealing with the aftermath of going through chemotherapy which left her feeling weak and unable to go back to work for some time.
She is slowly on her way back to being able to take care of her home again but in the meantime, we have agreed to try to help her with as much as we can given our limitations on funds and time. With your help, we can help give her a safe and warm home so that she may get back to living her life again. We will be sending a roofer out to replace her roof and an electrician to
address the electrical issues in her house. Please consider helping this single mother who has persevered throughout this trying time in her life and has shown us all to never give up. Let us also not give up on her.
