Project 3: Hooser / 8.20 – 8.22
Mr. Hooser lives with his dog and needs help making repairs to his aging home. He is grateful to have been accepted into our program and truly appreciates any assistance our team and volunteers can provide.
We will be sending a roofer to replace his roof and install an HVAC unit. They will also replace the water heater while bringing the venting up to code. Volunteers will help remodel the bathroom with a new shower, toilet, vanity, light fixture, and ventilation, while also replacing five windows, two entry doors, the kitchen countertop, and flooring throughout the home. We will also install attic insulation, complete any needed fascia repairs for new gutters, and, if time allows paint both the interior and exterior.
