Project 2: Flores
We’re excited to share the scope of work planned for Ms. Flores’ home. These repairs are very important to her since they would help improve her daily life. She says she has no money for the repairs since she is on her own with her young daughter. She works full time but still cannot afford these repairs. This project will address several essential structural and safety needs, beginning with foundation repairs to stabilize the home. A new roof will be installed, along with a new condenser and heating unit to replace the existing system. The current ductwork will be evaluated and replaced if necessary, and we’ll also inspect drainage and resolve existing plumbing concerns to ensure everything is functioning properly.
Inside the home, improvements will focus on safety, accessibility, and comfort. The existing tub will be converted into a refinished shower, new flooring will be installed in both bathrooms, toilets will be replaced, and updated lighting will brighten the bathrooms and hallway. We’ll also repair damaged drywall, replace entry doors, and adjust interior doors as needed. Outside, damaged siding and trim will be replaced, and the exterior will receive a fresh coat of paint—bringing renewed strength and pride to Ms. Flores’ home.
