Week 2: Project 3 – November 9th – 11th
Ms. Davis has called this place home for over 40 years. She lives there with her brother Ricky whom she cares for full time due to his disability. These repairs would mean that Monique could have easier access to her shower and warm water in the home would mean she would no longer have to wash clothes on her back porch.
After sending out plumbers to address the issues in her shower and kitchen, we will also be sending someone to service her HVAC. But we still need volunteers to help us replace a window, and 3 doors, install a new sink with a vanity, and repair floor and drywall in her laundry room. We will also be replacing her tub with a shower and tub surround in her hallway bathroom. Come out and help us show Ms. Davis some much-needed love as we help give her and her brother a safe and accessible home.
