Any questions or problems that arise should be directed to the site supervisor. Also, keep in mind that not all volunteers have the same skills. Each volunteer must recognize his own limitations and stay within them. This is a construction site so please review the following safety rules. All volunteers will need to set up digital profile and sign waiver before arriving to the job site. Volunteer Guidelines for Construction Sites When you arrive to the job site, please digitally check in on your personal phone with QR code that is displayed at the job site or check in at the site kiosk. All volunteers must complete a waiver prior to working. I have sent a copy that can be reviewed and filled out prior to the volunteer day or it can be obtained from the site superintendent on the day you work. Wear clothing you won’t mind getting dirty. Check the weather and dress appropriately. Sturdy, closed-toe shoes are required for your safety. You will not be allowed to work on site in sandals or flip flops. Work gloves and safety glasses will be provided if you don’t have your own. You do not need your own tools. After volunteers check-in they will be directed to the staged area where they can equip themselves with the necessary tools they will need to volunteer for that day. At the end of the day the tools will be returned to the staged area. Work of this type can be strenuous, especially if you are unaccustomed to physical labor. Please be sure to pace yourself and take breaks when necessary.
